Netflix reveals release dates for four new mobile games coming this month

Netflix ventured into mobile games last year. The streaming giant has unveiled the list of games released in May. Ranging from a casual game to a game with a more immersive experience, the new line includes dragon up (East Side Games), Moonlight (11 bit studios), Townspeople – A Rebuilt Kingdom (Handy Games), and Explosive Kittens – The Game (digital kitten explosion).

You can download games directly from the Netflix mobile app on release day at 10:00 a.m. PT.

To find these games, Android mobile users will see a dedicated games row and games tab where you can select any game to download, while iOS mobile users will see a dedicated games row where you can select any game. any game to download.

  1. dragon up (May 24)

Hatch and collect rare dragons, then help them reignite their magic in this colorful and beautifully animated single-player adventure game. Each dragon reflects the nest it comes from and almost all reflect the natural world – an important thematic element of Scandinavian artwork that inspired the game.

  1. Moonlight (May 24)

By day, he will run a shop in an idyllic village. At night, explore dungeons, slay monsters and unlock mysteries in this best of both worlds RPG adventure and our first Spanish game. Step into the shoes of Will, a brave shopkeeper who secretly dreams of becoming a hero in this action role-playing game. During the day, you are your own boss.   1. Townspeople – A Rebuilt Kingdom (May 24)

Who knew ruling a kingdom was so difficult? This mobile version of the popular strategy game, and our first German game, lets you reign supreme. Start with a small village and build your way to a huge medieval metropolis. A crisp, colorful land awaits you and your colonists who need food, protection and fun! Send your builders to build a city of your own design. Manage workers to chop wood and extract valuable ore. But keep an eye out for weather, disease and disasters. And don’t forget to keep those coins in circulation. The seasons will impact the demand for certain goods like extra water for the summer and more clothes in the winter. You are in charge, you are the ones who make the calls!

Fun fact: Townspeople (your loyal subjects) do not enter buildings; they become invisible in front of every door.

  1. Explosive Kittens – The Game (May 31st)

Bring on the catnip and play with up to five of your friends in this single or multiplayer game from the popular tabletop game creator. Explosive kittens. Draw as many cards as you can and do your best to dodge or defuse the deadly felines. Or else, boom goes dynamite! In this kitten-powered game of chance, players draw cards – until someone draws a kitten that explodes and explodes. But that’s not all, Netflix members will be able to play with two new exclusive maps, Radar and Flip Flop, allowing players to manipulate the game in new ways. The radar reveals to the players the position of the explosive kitten closest to the top of the deck of cards and Flip Flop reverses the order of the cards in the deck, featuring original artwork by The Oatmeal.
Fun fact: Future versions of Explosive Kittens – The Game will have an exclusive expansion pack of maps that will be themed around the Netflix series coming in 2023 so you can play with your favorite characters and bring the show to life.
