Philadelphia-based Stuzo is launching a mobile commerce platform, comprising iOS and Android mobile commerce apps, for the Chevron and Texaco brands. The tech company also includes mobile payment capabilities in the platform, including digital payment methods, Chevron and Texaco private label credit cards and, recently, the addition of open-loop cards, which can be traded almost everywhere.
“As one of the world’s largest retail fuel brands, we strive to provide streamlined refueling experiences to our consumers,” said Maria Melo, Head of Digital Innovation for Chevron USA Inc. “We’re making mobile payments more available, adding more ways for our consumers to personalize their experience and make our mobile apps innovative with payment options more accessible to a wider audience. We are happy to work with Stuzo on these critical initiatives. “
Most of the Chevron and Texaco stations in the network can process mobile payments through the apps. Compatible with all iOS and Android devices, the Chevron and Texaco apps are available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
“We remain committed to helping Chevron accelerate its business by providing options for its mobile customers to reduce physical contact when paying for fuel at the pump and to personalize and streamline the refueling experience,” said Gunter Pfau, Founder and CEO of Stuzo.
